Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Perinatal Mental Health Service in Sheffield. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to women and their families, while also offering advice and consultation to colleagues and other professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level skills in communicating complex information to service users, families, carers, and professional colleagues.
  • Offer consultation and supervision to other professional and non-professional groups.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of research methodology, research design, and complex data analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with the theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies in Perinatal Mental Health Services.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant legislation and policy pertaining to service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Post-graduate, doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the HCPC or Post-graduate Diploma qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
  • Experience of working in Perinatal Mental Health Services and teaching, training, and/or supervision.
  • Additional training in Perinatal Mental Health and related fields.
