Debt Recovery Agent Opportunity

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is seeking a skilled Debt Recovery Agent to join our team. As a Debt Recovery Agent, you will be responsible for providing a first-class collection service, maximising recovery on overdue balances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilise the dialler system to facilitate inbound and outbound telephone communication in relation to pre-litigation and litigation matters.
  • Liaise with customers and third parties to maximise recoveries on overdue balances.
  • Complete income & expenditure assessments to demonstrate affordability of arrangements.
  • Use skills and knowledge to ask open questions and, if necessary, challenge information gained.
  • Act with sensitivity and recognition of customers in potentially vulnerable positions.
  • Act as first point of contact for customer complaints and record details accurately.
  • Maintain consistency and adherence to strict compliance policies and all regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Good eye for detail and ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Work both on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Hardworking character, able to thrive in a pressurised environment, reacting to changing deadlines and priorities in a professional manner.
