Senior Accounts Professional

The role of a Senior Accounts Professional involves the preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards from source documents/records to final accounts for review by the appropriate manager. This requires strong practical knowledge/experience of accounts preparation within a practice environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions included in the financial statements.
  • Working on a wide range of accounts.
  • Making timely and relevant recommendations in relation to accounting matters, financial reporting and accounting systems in use (including software).

The ideal candidate should possess AAT level 3 or 4, ACCA or ACA studier qualifications and minimum 1 year's experience in accountancy practices. Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel, to an intermediate level, are also required for the production of letters and spreadsheets.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £28,000-£35,000 per annum.
