Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Adult Clinical Psychologist to join our PIER Team, which supports adults experiencing a first episode of psychosis. As a key member of our team, you will be based at the Merlyn Vaz centre in Leicester city and travel countywide to see clients in their homes and local communities.
You will provide clinical supervision and line management to our band 7 clinical psychologist, hold a caseload, and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions for psychosis and co-existing mental health issues, including family interventions.
As a senior psychologist, you will work with senior colleagues to ensure the continued provision of high-quality, responsive psychological therapies that meet NCAP therapy targets, support Step Up to Great Mental Health Service development plans, and help shape a psychologically informed service-wide Psychosis Pathway.
You will also contribute to the teaching of trainee clinical psychologists and supervise trainees on placement within the team.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in clinical psychology, experience of working with adults experiencing psychosis, and a commitment to trauma-informed care. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and provide clinical supervision and line management to our band 7 clinical psychologist.
