Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in providing specialist clinical psychology input within Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP). The successful candidate will work within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) setting, offering neuropsychological assessments within the memory service pathway.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical services to older adults, including assessment, formulation, and intervention.
- Offer advice and consultation on psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines, taking responsibility for the provision of a direct clinical service.
- Contribute to the development of the MHSOP service, aligning with the strategic aims of the trust.
- Hold a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- Have experience working with older adults, preferably in a community mental health setting.
- Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and service users.
