We provide strategic advice and execute deals across the entire equity product spectrum, from IPOs and follow-on offerings to secondary placements and other structured equity solutions.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Analyst/Associate to join the Equity Capital Markets Syndicate team within Jefferies Investment Bank in London.

This role is ideal for a finance professional with a solid foundation in capital markets who wants to be part of a dynamic team executing some of the most complex and high-profile equity transactions across EMEA.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deal Execution: Support the execution of ECM transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, block trades, and rights issues.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor equity markets and provide real-time market analysis to senior team members and clients.
  • Investor Outreach: Work with sales and trading teams to gauge investor demand and build relationships with key institutional investors.
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis and valuation to support the pricing and structuring of transactions.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare documentation for deals, including prospectuses, pitch materials, and regulatory filings.
  • Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across ECM, corporate finance, legal, compliance, sales, and trading teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in ECM, syndicate, investment banking, or equity sales.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Microsoft Office.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of equity capital markets, especially in the EMEA region.
