Pitch Process Responsibilities:

  • Manage the firm-wide pitch process, including best practices for qualification conversations and compliance checks to ensure efficient pitch preparation.
  • Conduct thorough client research and develop tailored strategies for each pitch, creating persuasive value propositions in line with client needs and firm strengths.
  • Draft bespoke pitches based on practice group and client business needs.
  • Oversee all aspects of pitch responses, including planning, structuring, content creation, and submission.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all pitch components.
  • Coach pitch teams, prepare presentation materials, conduct rehearsals, provide critical feedback, and formulate agendas.
  • Develop standard materials and infrastructure to support pitching activities, including key selling messages and credentials.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure pitching content in the system is current and aligned with the firm's messaging and style.
  • Record all pitch opportunities and outcomes in relevant databases, maintaining up-to-date and accurate information for reporting purposes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Experience leading complex pitching opportunities in a global firm.
  • Ability to build relationships and liaise confidently with people at all levels.
  • Experience working with client procurement teams.
