Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join their children with disabilities team as a full-time locum based in the east of Somerset.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Social Worker looking to gain experience in a children with disabilities team. While previous experience in this area is not essential, we welcome applications from those with experience in child protection, child in need, looked after children, or safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake thorough assessments of need to identify the level of support required by children and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualised plans to address the needs of children and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Social Work Qualification and experience as a children's social worker, preferably with experience in child protection, child in need, looked after children, or safeguarding. You will also need to be registered with Social Work England and have a valid driving license with access to your own vehicle.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, paid twice weekly. In addition, you will have access to regular supervision and in-house Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities. We also offer a referral bonus scheme and a bonus for finding your own job.
