About the Role

We are recruiting a skilled Adoption Placement Coordinator to join our Recruitment & Assessment Team in Wiltshire. In this role, you will work closely with approved adopters, children, and other professionals to achieve successful placements and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the matching process between approved adopters and children to ensure the best possible match.
  • Preparing reports and supporting documents for adoption panels and courts.
  • Providing ongoing support to prospective adopters throughout the placement process.
  • Liaising with other professionals, including social workers and foster carers, to ensure effective collaboration.
Requirements
  • A Social Work Qualification (degree or equivalent) and current registration with Social Work England.
  • A minimum of two years experience within a childcare team, including safeguarding responsibilities.
  • An understanding of child development and the needs of children who have experienced trauma or abuse.
