Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and guiding Key Stage 2 children, promoting teamwork, and creating a conducive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging strengths, and improving weaknesses
- Further develop maths ability by introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
- Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories
- Keep track of children's progress and report back to parents
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong academic record and QTS/PGCE qualification
- Experience in a Year 5 environment and passion for learning
- Able to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom and communicate effectively with children and parents
