Key Responsibilities:

  • Purposeful Planning: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate our Year 5 pupils.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Provide a balanced curriculum, focusing on both academic and personal development.
  • Assessment Preparation: Prepare pupils for their end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs), ensuring high standards of progress and achievement.
  • Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupils' learning experience.

About You:

  • QTS: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience: Experience teaching Year 5 or Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.
  • Differentiation: Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working with parents and the wider school community.
