District Nurse Team Leader

As a District Nurse Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care to the communities of Oxfordshire. With a proven track record of leadership experience, you will lead our innovative and dedicated team in providing proactive, caring, safe and excellent standards of patient care.
About the RoleThis opportunity is available to nurses with proven leadership experience, who are passionate about community nursing and relish the opportunity to use their skills, experience and knowledge to provide nursing care in people's own homes.
You will work autonomously, deliver high quality and evidence-based nursing care, see problem-solving as a positive challenge and be creative in many varied and unpredictable clinical situations.
We offer a comprehensive training program, regular 1:1 support and development, annual appraisal and group clinical supervision with your peers.
Key Responsibilities- To lead a team of district nurses in providing high-quality patient care.
- To develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient outcomes.
- To work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Evidence of Level 6 academic study or ability to demonstrate Level 6 academic writing. Registered General Nurse (adult) and current NMC registration. Evidence of level 7 academic study.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is estimated at £38,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including excellent opportunities for career progression, access to tailored individual and Trust-wide learning and development, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 33 days with continuous service, NHS discount across a wide range of shops, restaurants and retailers and lease car scheme.
