Job Title: Senior Construction Manager

About the Role:
RBU Sales UK Ltd t/a iRecruit UK is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee key aspects of a significant infrastructure project in Carlisle. The role involves supervising drainage and utilities work, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. This position offers an initial 3-month contract, with potential for ongoing work as the project is long-term.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all site operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
* Supervise drainage and utilities work, managing teams to deliver high-quality, efficient results.
* Order necessary equipment and materials to maintain productivity and prevent delays.
* Manage the project budget and monitor expenditures to ensure financial targets are met.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintain equipment to ensure high standards of safety and functionality.
* Complete and submit all required paperwork and documentation promptly and accurately.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience with Tier 1 contractors on major heavy civils projects is highly desirable.
* Ability to provide clear direction and guidance to promote team efficiency and cohesion.
* Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines effectively.
* Strong leadership capabilities to motivate and guide teams toward achieving project milestones.
* Proficiency with relevant software for reporting and planning, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Skilled in making informed decisions, such as assessing material needs, to support smooth project operations.

Estimated Salary: £275 per day, based on a PAYE Umbrella or CIS model.
