Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Manager to join our finance leadership team at Pro-Tax. As a VAT Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our tax strategy, advising senior finance team members on tax risk, and overseeing tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tax strategy to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Advise senior finance team members on tax risk and provide guidance on tax planning and compliance
- Oversee tax compliance, including managing a team of tax professionals and ensuring accurate and timely tax returns
- Provide expert advice to finance colleagues and wider business units on tax matters
Requirements
- Professionally qualified in tax or accountancy
- Strong VAT background with the desire to cover all taxes
- Ability to work under pressure, identify and resolve complex problems, and prioritize workload effectively
