Job Title: Satellite Thermal Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Thermal Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and implementation of the thermal control system for our spacecraft and air-breathing propulsion system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement thermal control systems for spacecraft and air-breathing propulsion systems
  • Perform steady-state and transient thermal analysis of spacecraft thermal systems
  • Advise hardware development teams on design decisions
  • Develop thermal systems, including system architecture definition, thermal system modeling, component sizing, and design
  • Drive the development of thermal vacuum (TVAC) test procedures, scripts, and installation designs
Requirements:
  • Understanding of the fundamentals (theory and practice) of thermal control design for satellites
  • Experience with FEM analysis tools (e.g., Ansys) and programming languages
  • Extensive experience using lab equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
