About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PACS Manager to join our team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our PACS and RIS equipment, ensuring seamless workflow, archiving, and auto-routing of medical images.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the PACS team in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging systems
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workflow efficiency and patient care
  • Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of PACS and RIS systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in medical imaging technology and implement best practices in our department

Requirements

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or a related field
  • Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Postgraduate training in clinical and management areas
  • Proven experience in a senior radiography role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
