About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PACS Manager to join our team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our PACS and RIS equipment, ensuring seamless workflow, archiving, and auto-routing of medical images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the PACS and RIS equipment, including workflow, archiving, and auto-routing of medical images.
  • Work closely with department managers and supervisors to ensure proper operation of DICOM image transfer into the PACS and network transmission.
  • Analyze complex data sets to resolve errors and corrections.
Person Specification
  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiographer or recognized equivalent resulting in current HCPC registration.
  • Registered with the Statutory Board of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Evidence of post-graduate training in both clinical and management areas.
