Job Summary
Securitas Security Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Portsmouth. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing professional security services to our international defence sector client.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol the site to ensure the security and safety of personnel and assets
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any security breaches
- Conduct bag checks and searches as required
- Liaise with the onsite Supervisor and other security personnel to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Report any incidents or suspicious activity to the authorities
- Ensure that all security procedures and protocols are followed
- Provide excellent customer service to our client and their visitors
Requirements
- Hold a current, valid SIA licence
- Be a UK national with a minimum of 5 years' residency in the UK
- Provide valid proof of right to work in the UK and pass security clearance
- Be able to work well individually and as part of a team
- Be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions
- Be able to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats
- Be able to make timely and informed decisions
- Be reasonably fit, as walking and foot patrols are required
