We're a rapidly growing payments business in the UK and Europe, known for our industry-leading platform and comprehensive online tools. Our goal is to provide seamless connectivity into payment schemes both domestically and overseas, regardless of location.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in driving the evolution of our customer experience through the customer portal. This includes ensuring high standards of scalability, reliability, and performance. You'll be working closely with other squads, teams, and stakeholders to identify and implement effective software solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and analyze scalable frontend services, APIs, and subsystems, ensuring comprehensive documentation and testing procedures are supported.
  • Collaborate with other squads, teams, and stakeholders to identify and implement effective software solutions.
  • Take a lead in design and code reviews, ensuring high-quality standards and best practices.
  • Work in an agile environment, using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Coordinate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot existing systems to optimize performance.

The Frontend Engineering team at Modulr is a dynamic and innovative group that's at the core of our technology stack. We collaborate regularly with the Backend, DevOps, and Data teams to deliver cohesive and cutting-edge payment solutions.

About You

A successful Software Engineer will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty.

Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary range for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer:
