The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our team and work closely with our Procurement Manager. As a key member of our procurement team, you'll be responsible for coordinating tasks, providing administrative support, and building strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Raising purchase orders and managing the receipt of goods
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns
- Supporting the estimating department with product information and supplier inquiries
- Maintaining supplier relationships and driving cost savings
- Implementing process improvements to ensure continuity within the business
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a proven track record of:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience with workflow management systems and financial processes
