About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Grafton. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for delivering an operationally focused HR service, providing expert advice and support while managing employee relations cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to implement business strategies and ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
- Work with key stakeholders across the organization to advise on current legislation, identify risks, and offer effective solutions.
- Ensure timely, fair, and consistent handling of HR matters in accordance with legal and company requirements.
- Facilitate managers in addressing Employee Relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management, and capability investigations/hearings.
- Develop and maintain robust casework recording and reporting systems linked to our HR system.
- Minimize the risk of Employment Tribunals through effective case management.
- Set direction, establish performance measures, and monitor service quality from indemnity insurers.
- Act as Deputy in the absence of the Head of HR when HR advice is required.
