About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Cardiac Investigator to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting non-invasive cardiac investigations, analyzing 24-hour and 7-day holter tapes, and assisting in exercise tolerance, head-up tilt, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To competently perform resting ECGs, ambulatory ECG and BP recordings, including event recorders.
  2. To analyze resting and ambulatory ECG and BP recordings, including event recorders.
  3. To support exercise stress echoes, exercise tolerance testing, head-up tilt table testing, and ILR implant and follow-up with appropriate training.
  4. To demonstrate an awareness of the needs and priorities of co-workers, coordinating and cooperating with other members of the team.
  5. To attend and participate in departmental meetings and contribute to issues relating to quality of care, technical standards, and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

We require a BSc in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent, immediate life support certification, and experience in fitting and analyzing ECG and blood pressure monitors. Strong underpinning knowledge of exercise tolerance testing, resting and ambulatory ECG, and BP recording and interpretation is also essential.
