Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients undergoing surgery, including history taking and physical examination
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, as required, to inform clinical decision-making
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure patients are prepared for and fit for surgery
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes

Requirements- Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC
- Substantial post-registration experience in the relevant acute care specialty
- Completed specialist Trust internal education and competencies, or equivalent experience
- Completed Level 6/7 Accredited History Taking and Physical Assessment course, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
