**Salary:** £42,000 - £47,000 per annum
**Job Description:**
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to undertake child and family assessments, develop support plans, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective discharge of Local Authority Statutory duties in relation to children in need, protection, looked after children, and adoptive placements.
Main areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Conducting thorough and accurate child and family assessments;
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans to meet the needs of vulnerable children and families;
- Collaborating with colleagues, partners, and agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services;
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
We are seeking a qualified and experienced social worker who possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification (e.g., BA/BSc in Social Work) and possess a valid registration with the HCPC. They will also have experience working with vulnerable children and families, ideally within a statutory setting.
