Job Title: Compliance and Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Compliance and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Greaves Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across all aspects of our business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage BRC and ISO accreditation requirements, ensuring compliance with both standards.
  • Oversee the company's Quality Management System, improving, maintaining, reviewing, and updating it as necessary.
  • Lead the HARA team and manage the site HARA plan, improving, reviewing, maintaining, and updating it.
  • Head up all third-party and customer site audits related to quality.
  • Ensure nonconformances raised during internal and external audits are logged, managed, actioned, closed, and effectiveness monitored.
  • Establish quality and compliance objectives and KPIs.
  • Monitor and report quality KPIs.
  • Prepare information for quality meetings.
  • Prepare for senior management review meetings, pulling departmental reports together and presenting them to the team.
  • Manage supplier approval and performance monitoring.
  • Manage the calibration schedule, ensuring equipment is calibrated when required.
  • Contact the pest control contractor, managing visits and issues arising.
  • Write, review, and update site policies and management procedures.
  • Be responsible for controlling records and documents.
  • Prepare for and present compliance during customer quality reviews.
  • Jointly prepare staff briefings for quality and compliance.
  • Manage the information to communicate on the quality notice board.
  • Assure site hygiene.
  • Crisis management team lead, arranging mock withdrawals and traceability exercises when due.
  • Report compliance updates and issues during daily meetings.
  • Assist with quality aspects when required.
