Procurement Specialist

SF Recruitment (Nottingham) is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team. This is a maternity cover role based in the office with a salary paying up to £30,000.
Key Responsibilities:- Support various projects within the business by placing orders in alignment with schedules and requisitions to ensure timely deliveries.
- Identify suitable suppliers and negotiate tenders and quotations, carefully reviewing terms.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure all business requirements are passed on to suppliers.
- Process supplier invoice queries and reconcile purchase order acknowledgements with details on all orders placed.
- Ensure lead-time data within the ERP system is kept up to date and place consumable orders to meet the business needs.
- Proficient IT skills specifically Word and Excel.
- Previous purchasing experience.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and solve problems.
- ERP/MRP experience.
This is a fast-paced environment and suitable candidates will have experience of working in similar roles previously and be able to work under pressure and solve problems in a timely manner. The client is looking for somebody who has a positive approach to work.
