Job Overview

At ARM, we're seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of software projects that drive innovation and excellence in the industry. As a key member of our Central Engineering Software Operations team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, tracking, and monitoring of projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive project planning, scheduling, tracking, and monitoring to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Motivate and drive teams to deliver to commitments, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Ensure project governance, proactively managing risks, change, and dependencies to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain strong organizational skills, a can-do approach, and a collaborative mindset to drive project success.
  • Work closely with adjacent functional groups, including Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and Operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Intentionally engage to develop and improve our processes and practices, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
  • Leading project delivery, preferably software projects in an Agile or iterative environment.
  • Strong communication and networking skills to influence and collaborate with engineering teams, peers, senior management, and ARM partners.
  • A positive, can-do behavior that's adaptive to change, resilient, and eager to accept new challenges in a fast-paced high-tech environment.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams.
  • Proficient in the application of standard Microsoft Office tools.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle and Project and Product Lifecycles.
  • Exposure to Open-Source Software.
  • Usage of supporting tools commonly used in ARM project management, such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
