Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technician or Technologist to join our team in Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to architectural technology, technical drawing, construction drawings, architecture, and computer-aided design (CAD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical drawings and documentation for residential projects
  • Collaborate with our design team to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of construction drawings
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and models
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for complex design challenges
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve project goals and deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met

Requirements

  • Architectural Technology and Technical Drawing skills
  • Experience in creating construction drawings using CAD software
  • Knowledge of architecture principles and practices
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • 4+ years of experience in residential construction
  • HND, BSc in Architectural Technology or Part 2 qualified Architect
