Job Title: Part Time Office Administrator

Cotswold Archaeology is seeking a Part Time Office Administrator to support our Needham Market office. This is a busy and varied administrative role that requires effective multi-tasking and the ability to work in a reactive environment as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide an efficient and welcoming reception service for all visitors, customers, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the office is maintained, including remedial repairs and the sourcing and booking of building contractors to undertake emergency repairs.
  • Be the key contact for suppliers, contractors, and postal services.
  • Manage the vehicle fleet for the office, including the collation of weekly maintenance and mileage records and maintain the central record for all offices.
  • Manage the archiving and filing of documentation for the office.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, visitors, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Proven office administration skills with the ability to prioritize effectively within a busy and reactive environment.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making, and the ability to use initiative.
  • The ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A full manual driving license.
