
Podiatrist in Community Setting

We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our community team in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including community clinics, hospitals, and residential homes, providing high-quality podiatric care to patients with diverse clinical needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a range of clinical needs, including high-risk diabetes, neuropathy, and chronic disease.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Participate in clinical governance and supervision to maintain high standards of practice.
- Provide foot health education and advice to patients, relatives, and carers.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
- HCPC registered podiatrist.
- Podiatry diploma/degree.
- Local anaesthetics certificate.
- Evidence of continuing professional development in relevant areas.
Desirable
- Broad-based experience working in isolation and as a team member.
- Experience working in an NHS Podiatry setting.
- An understanding of clinical governance and clinical supervision.
