Podiatrist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Podiatrist to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of clinical needs, including high-risk diabetes, neuropathy, and chronic disease.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate podiatric care for patients with various clinical needs.
- Work in a variety of settings, including hospital clinics, ward rounds, health centre community clinics, GP practice clinics, residential homes for the elderly, patients' homes, and care centres for the disabled.
- Manage the day-to-day running of a busy clinic, including completing relevant internal competency development and participating in the departmental rota for nail surgery.
- Identify risk factors, categorize patients into appropriate risk banding, and develop individual treatment plans.
- Provide foot health education advice to patients, relatives, and carers, and participate in foot health training for Primary Care and Social Care staff.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies, guidelines, and protocols.
- Competence across all core areas of Podiatry.
- Strong teamwork ethic and sense of accountability.
- Ability to work flexibly and provide cover for other Podiatrists at short notice or during periods of absence.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the Trust's Equal Opportunities Policy.
