About the Role

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our Stores and Dispensary team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that wards and departments have the necessary supplies of medicines and sundries for patients' use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit ward areas to check stock and supply what is needed
  • Ensure stock on wards is fit for use and accurately book in stock delivered from suppliers
  • Help with medicines that have been returned and ensure they are disposed of appropriately
  • Participate in the bank holiday rota and work 1 in 10 weekends
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent passes in Maths, English and Science
  • General work experience in a suitable team
  • Able to work as part of a team with a flexible approach to duties
  • Articulate and numerate
