Associate Design Director

We are seeking an experienced Associate Design Director to join our team at Electric Square. As a key member of our design leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the creative vision and direction of our games.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the studio's design strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and creative vision.
- Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including art, engineering, and production, to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality design deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to inform design decisions and drive innovation.
- 5+ years of experience in game design, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.
- Proven leadership experience, with a ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their best work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and best practices.
- Experience with game engines, such as Unreal Engine 5, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
