Laraveldaily is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Scotland. As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing proactive support to resolve customer issues, including using a ticketing solution and working to SLAs. Your key responsibilities will include project support and system deployment, setup of new equipment, installation, testing, and monitoring of servers and firewalls, and assisting with LAN/WAN, computer repair, software issues, networks, virus protection, and Wi-Fi. To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in IT support, experience in virtualisation, backup, MS Exchange, AD, and O365, virtual environment, networks, and storage, experience on firewalls, good communication skills, and the ability to give advice to non-technical customers. You will also need to have great problem-solving skills. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000, dependent on experience, 20 days holiday + public holidays, pension, private medical insurance, exposure to multiple clients and technology, a mobile phone allowance, travel expenses, variety of team events, employee referral bonus, interest-free personal loan, and professional development and training.
