Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is £52,000 - £56,000 + car allowance, based on the location and industry standards.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing detailed estimates for facilities management services, including M&E (Mechanical & Electrical), general building maintenance. This involves reviewing project specifications, tender documents, and site conditions to assess the scope of work, analysing drawings, technical documents, and site surveys to quantify required material, labour, and subcontract services.

You will collaborate with project managers, facilities managers, and other FM teams to gather relevant information for pricing purposes and identify opportunities for potential cost-saving and propose alternative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed estimates for facilities management services, including M&E and general building maintenance.
  • Review project specifications, tender documents, and site conditions to assess the scope of work.
  • Analyse drawings, technical documents, and site surveys to quantify required material, labour, and subcontract services.
  • Collaborate with project managers, facilities managers, and other FM teams to gather relevant information for pricing purposes.
  • Identify opportunities for potential cost-saving and propose alternative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of SFG20 regulations and building services.
  • Ability to use estimation software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
