Job Title: Contract Manager - Senior Estimator

Company Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager - Senior Estimator to join our team in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a main contractor that has a turnover of circa £15m.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is £52,000 per annum, plus a car allowance and package.

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned number 1 manager with the ability to progress into a Project Manager role. Promotions from within are a big thing with this company, and all current Contracts Managers began in this position.

The ideal candidate will have excellent management skills, with experience in managing estimators, assistant estimators, and trainee estimators. You will also be responsible for delivering core services on project bids, attending bid launch meetings, pricing groundworks, and liaising with the procurement department.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager or Estimator
  • Excellent management skills
  • Ability to work away during the week
