About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to join our team as a Professor of Accounting at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to teaching and research in accounting, with a focus on delivering high-quality educational experiences for our students.

Job Summary:

  • Teach and assess modules in accounting at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Contribute to the development of courses and programmes in accounting, including innovating in teaching delivery and engaging in faculty administrative roles.
  • Build strong links with practitioners and industry partners to enhance the relevance and impact of our teaching and research.
  • Mentor and supervise students, including PhD students, providing effective feedback and guidance.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Accounting.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Evidence of a developing publication record in accounting-related fields.
  • Experience of designing, teaching, and assessing modules in accounting.
