Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to join our Integrated Solutions Information Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing system set-up, administration, and database maintenance. You will also ensure that deliverables can be produced from the model and that the content complies with the Company and client standards and conventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage system set-up, admin, and database maintenance
  • Ensure deliverables can be produced from the model and that content complies with Company and client standards
  • Co-ordinate with Engineering Systems to provide support for resolution of CAD application issues
  • Develop and implement 3D CAD management plan incorporating project and contractual requirements
  • Manage SMARTPLANT S3D 3D model, global working, system administration, user support, and clash management
  • Provide multi-discipline CAD coordination and user support
  • Accountable for creation and implementation of CAD Management policies, plans, specifications, and procedures, management of model content and compliance
  • Develop 3D model hierarchy and naming conventions
  • Develop 3D CAD plan and procedures
  • System administration, create project, hierarchy, backup, and permissions
  • Reporting, 3D model status, audit, and MTO
  • Communicate regularly with multi-office CAD teams by use of regular coordination meetings, briefing sessions to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned
  • Incorporate supplier 3D model for space reservation and clash detection
  • Manage project 3D visualisation images, using SPR and Navisworks
  • Manage software problems and reporting to KBR Service desk
  • Support introduction and upgrade of software/application versions
  • 3D model progress measurement and coordinated 2D and 3D data flow
  • Support 3D model object engineering and model status reporting

Requirements:

  • 3D CAD management experience preferable in Oil & Gas Projects or large Engineering Project
  • System setup, configuration, global workshare, administration, and user support
  • Degree qualification or equivalent oil and gas industry experience
  • Experience of 2D CAD system admin (advantage)
  • SMARTPLANT S3D global management and global working methodology
  • PL expressions/programming (an advantage)
  • Deliverable/drawing setup, and configuration and production support
  • 3D model review SPR
  • MTO data output
