French Speaking Director of Accounting and Auditing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced French speaking Director of Accounting and Auditing to join our team at The Language Business - Language Recruitment Specialists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading accounting and auditing services for both English and French speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and approve accounts and audit reports
- Provide technical advice to clients and staff on accounting and auditing matters and stay up-to-date with the latest developments and changes
- Manage client relationships and ensure they are satisfied with our services, identifying and responding to feedback and concerns
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts and referrals in the French speaking market and identify new business opportunities
- Lead, coach, and mentor staff, providing feedback and support for their professional development and career progression
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting and auditing policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring they are adhered to
- Fluency in French is essential
- Extensive experience in accounting and auditing in a senior or managerial role with exposure to the French speaking market
- ACCA, ACA, CPA qualified or equivalent
- Familiarity with French accounting and auditing standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Highly professional and ethical, with a commitment to delivering quality and excellence
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Starting salary of £95,000 - £110,000 pa depending on experience and skills
- Fantastic benefits, including hybrid working, flexible working hours, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) increasing with service, competitive pension scheme, private medical insurance, life assurance, excellent learning and development opportunities, and annual discretionary bonus (typically 2-10% of salary)
