Payroll and Labour Cost Team Leader

Job Summary:
Woodland Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Payroll and Labour Cost Team Leader to join our team in Surrey. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements, and providing management reports on labour costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the payroll department and GHRS functions, including coordination of salary review process and standard cost reporting.
- Ensure adequate records and documentation are kept, and compliance with legal, procedural, and audit requirements are maintained.
- Manage the administration of the GHRS and MyPeople systems, including checking of all labour invoices to GHRS rates and timesheets, and checking of expenses.
- Process payroll changes, advances, starters, leavers, increases, etc., and ensure all payroll changes have the proper authorized documentation prior to processing.
- Coordinate the salary review process and provide management reports on labour costs and monthly payroll reports.
- Maintain proper records and filing system kept for Statutory Bodies and returns, including E101 and E102 applications as and when required.
- Ensure payment orders for all payrolls are up to date and support and liaise with HR, Organisation, and ICT Manager on all necessary and ad hoc issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Payroll Manager.
- Full qualification as a Payroll Manager.
- Ability to deal with payrolls from various sources, depending on ongoing projects.
