About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Director of Finance and Investment to join our team at Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB). As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our services.

Key Responsibilities

As our Executive Director of Finance and Investment, you will be responsible for leading our financial planning and investment activities, working closely with our colleagues across the system to ensure that our financial strategies align with our overall goals and objectives.

You will have a strong track record of leading transformational change, with experience of managing complex financial projects and developing innovative solutions to drive financial sustainability.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced financial leader who can bring a deep understanding of the healthcare sector and a proven track record of delivering financial results.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with full membership and evidence of up-to-date continuing professional development.
  • Experience of utilising health economics experience in a relevant role/setting and/or a relevant qualification.
  • Substantial board level leadership experience and/or system leadership experience within a regulatory or similar environment.
  • Experience of managing highly sensitive situations with stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing relationships with the media and political stakeholders.
  • Experience of providing financial leadership, mentorship, and professional development at a very senior level with demonstrable outcomes.
  • Experience of leading highly complex and contentious transformational change at significant scale.
