About the Role

The safeguarding teams at Northamptonshire Children's Trust are focused on creative problem-solving and keeping children and families together. We have 14 safeguarding teams across Northamptonshire, each consisting of a Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, who holds complex cases and supports 5 or 6 Social Workers and a Newly Qualified Social Worker within their team.

The Advanced Practitioner will be confident in their analysis and decision-making to deliver purposeful and effective social care.

Your Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support Social Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers
  • Hold complex cases and provide expert advice
  • Develop and implement effective social care plans
  • Contribute to the improvement of Social Work practice
About You

You will be a qualified social worker who has completed their ASYE and has a strong desire to develop social work expertise to support the Children's Trust with its improvement journey. You will be passionate about delivering best practice and support to children and families.
