Support Worker for Young Person with Additional Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing 2:1 support to a young person with additional needs. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment to 2 weekend shifts per month.
Key Responsibilities- Support the young person with all aspects of their health, care, and medical plan, including manual handling and transitions.
- Assist with personal care, therapy input, and planning fun and enjoyable activities.
- Work alongside a team member to ensure the young person's needs are met.
The young person is an 11-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy, who uses a wheelchair and has epilepsy. He requires support with communication and has a PEG in situ to top up his nutrition. He loves to bake, play in the garden, and engage in various hobbies and interests.
Requirements- Experience supporting a young person with additional needs.
- Confidence with manual handling and supporting with personal care.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide continuity of care.
As a Support Worker with Snap Care, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the life of a young person with additional needs. You will receive continuous support from your colleagues and a comprehensive on-boarding process.
