Nursery Room Leader Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Nursery People. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safety for children.
Key Responsibilities:- Room Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery room, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Curriculum Planning: Develop and deliver a creative and engaging curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, tailored to the needs of each child.
- Team Management: Lead and support a team of nursery practitioners, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Child Development: Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring that individual developmental needs are met.
- Parent Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the nursery room is safe, clean, and complies with all health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting, with some leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early years education.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to working with young children and staff.
