Nursery Room Leader Opportunity

Nursery People is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join their team in central London. As a key member of the nursery team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and enriching environment for young children to develop, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Activity Planning and Implementation: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  2. Team Management: Manage a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure best practice and a high standard of care.
  3. Parent and Carer Relationships: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and ensuring they feel part of their child's early education journey.
  4. Safety and Wellbeing: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care, conducting regular risk assessments, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements:
  1. A full and recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
  2. Proven experience in an early years setting, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
  3. A passion for working with young children and a deep understanding of child development.
  4. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, children, and parents.
