About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Armley Grange, a specialist school equipped with the latest technology and sensory provision. As part of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of school facilities, including carpentry, plumbing, decorating, and other trades.
  • Ensuring compliance with current building regulations and health and safety policies.
  • Managing and maintaining inventory and equipment.
  • Providing excellent customer service to staff and students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of current building regulations and health and safety policies.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • COSHH, PAT testing, asbestos awareness, and working at heights certifications (an asset).
