Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing a full suite of accountancy compliance support to a varied client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and tax returns for a diverse range of clients.
  • Oversight of preparation of VAT returns and management of workflow to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met.
  • Onboarding clients and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing constructive feedback and supportive coaching.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients and identifying new service lines for growth.
About the Role:

Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA part-qualified with previous practice experience.
  • Good knowledge across accountancy systems and a strong understanding of UK GAAP.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
