Senior Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Recruitment Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our warehouse team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching, training, and developing employees to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conducting thorough investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Planning and organizing warehouse functions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Supporting the implementation of operational policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
- Managing the movement of materials, coordinating with internal departments and external contractors as needed.
- Managing external contractors through the permit-to-work process.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to address operational issues and reporting to the operations manager.
Requirements:
- Good secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Desirable: Six Sigma/LEAN experience and previous experience in the metal industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong people management skills.
