Project Overview
The Airfield Engineering Asset Project Engineer will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and staying within budget.
About the Role
This is a permanent position based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering and experience in a manufacturing/industrial/engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage in-house projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients and ensure all departments are aware of project timescales.
- Create 3D models, renders and manufacturing drawings using Solidworks.
- Visit clients as required to assess project details.
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial/engineering sector.
- A proven track record of delivering projects ranging from £50,000 to £500,000.
- A working knowledge of design techniques and 3D modelling software.
- Proficient in planning and prioritising daily tasks.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 per annum, plus benefits including pension and annual % based performance bonus, 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, company events.
