Job Summary:

Fletchers Solicitors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solicitor to join our Clinical Negligence team in Manchester. As a Senior Solicitor, you will play a key role in managing a caseload of complex clinical negligence cases, providing expert advice and guidance to clients, and working closely with the team to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clinical negligence cases, including conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and preparing cases for trial.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on their clinical negligence claims, including explaining the legal process and potential outcomes.
  • Work closely with the team to deliver outstanding results, including collaborating with colleagues to develop case strategies and tactics.
  • Conduct negotiations with opposing parties to resolve cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and present cases in court, including drafting legal documents and presenting evidence.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and best practices in clinical negligence, and apply this knowledge to improve case outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in clinical negligence law, with a strong track record of success in managing complex cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing parties.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop effective case strategies.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
